Study on rare earth IR/NR blends

Physical mechanical properties,dynamic properties and vulcanization characteristics of rare-earth IR/NR blends were investigated and compared with NR.The results showed that rare-earth IR to be developed independently was a novel synthetic rubber with excellent comprehensive performance,and it can partly substitute NR..When IR/NR blending ratio was 40/60,Not only vulcanization characteristics of NR was greatly improved and the safety in operation was enhanced,But also the heat-aging resistance properties,heat build up and dynamic cutting resistance of vulcanizates were improved to different degrees.
