Correlations between psychological status and coping style in hand injury patients

Objective:To investigate the relationship between psychological status and coping style in hand injury patients. Methods:SAS,SDS and MCMQ were used to analyze the psychological status and coping style in 80 cases of hand injury patients. Results:The scores of SAS and SDS were considerably higher in the hand injury patients than norms,and the facing score was much lower,while the avoidance and obedience scores much higher(all P0.01) . The SAS score was significantly and positively related to obedience(γ=0.646,P0.01) . Conclusion:The psychological status may be closely relate to the coping style in hand injury patients,and nursing staff should adopt effective measures to guide the patients to take positive coping style.
