Environmental Regulation and Foreign Direct Investment

This paper positively studies the relationship between foreign direct investment and environmental regulation based on panel data model.The results show that environmental regulation has the negative impact on attracting FDI in China;though this influence is not statistically significant.Foreign direct investment is also influenced by some other factors such as GDP per captia,market index,infrastructure,openness,etc.
