Silver-catalyzed synthesis of 2-arylvinylphosphonates by cross-coupling of β-nitrostyrenes with H-phosphites

An efficient protocol for stereoselective synthesis of vinylphosphonates has been developed via AgNO₃-catalyzed cross-coupling of β-nitrostyrenes with dialkyl H-phosphites under mild conditions.
