Nanochannel-based heterometallic {ZnIIHoIII}–organic framework with high catalytic activity for the chemical fixation of CO2

The robust, double-walled, honeycomb material {[ZnHo(TDP)(H₂O)]·2DMF·4H₂O}_n exhibits an excellent catalytic performance in the chemical fixation of CO₂ and the efficient detection of Fe(iii) ions in aqueous solution.
