摘要
Macau is widely regarded as a tourism-oriented city, thanks to its captivating and numerous buildings and architectural structures on the World Heritage List. So we have to understand how to appreciate this advantage, which only existed in Macau, and express this unique culture to visitors to keep attracting more tourists to Macau. Given that the next generation will almost certainly use digital devices, including digital art in the Macau historical rehabilitation project would be exciting. This effort achieves two important goals: first, it provides a more improved and enriching way to experience Macau, and second, it assures the preservation and conservation of its original legacy. Macau's street signage is unique and incorporates a captivating style of porcelain painting technique. It highlights the tremendous significance and value that street names have carried since their execution, adding to the rich fabric of Macau's Intangible Cultural Heritage. Because of that, it presents an intriguing opportunity for study and experimentation. My concept revolves around the re-imagination of street signage by using digital illustrations and Augmented Reality (AR) technology, which is a new trend being used in many Heritage sites around Asia [1] which brings the user a new experience when travelling around the city, providing users with a different experience when visiting Macau.
