摘要
Abstract It is possible to calculate the nutrient intakes of individuals or population groups if quantitative or semiquantitative methods have been used to collect the relevant food consumption data. The calculations use food composition values representative of the average composition of a particular foodstuff — ideally on a year-round, nationwide basis. The values are available as food composition tables, and/or databases.
