Study on Synthesis of PET with Titanium Catalyst

The catalytic effect of titanium catalyst(STiC-01) in polymerization of PET was studied and compared with the conventional catalyst(Sb2EG3).Result showed that STiC-01 had better activity for PET polycondensation reaction than Sb2EG3,and the PET chips had good color and luster.The PET chips produced by STiC-01 had no heavy metal so that this production and process were environmental friendly.In addition,STiC-01 could remarkably decrease the temperature of esterification,which realized good result of energy saving and consumption reduction.
