Concept maps were tools for organizing and representing knowledge,application of concept maps in teaching probability theory and mathematical statistics provided a new approach for teaching probability theory and mathematical statistics.Application of the concept maps theory,this paper reveals the nature of studying probability theory and mathematical statistics by character,obtaining process of probability theory and mathematical statistics concept maps and the function of probability theory and mathematical statistics concept maps.
