The Determination of Piperine in Hainan Piper nigrum by HPLC

To determined the content of Piperine in different regions of Piper nigrum and their different parts.Piperine of Piper nigrum L.was extracted by Soxhlet extraction,and the content of Piperine was determined by HPLC.The content of Piperine in the fruits of Piper nigrum in Hainan Wanning was 3.17 %,0.43 % in the roots,0.01 % in the lesves;The content of Piperine in the fruits of Piper nigrum in Wanning,which was higher than other regions.The content of Piperine in Piper nigrum was affected by different growth environment,which in the fruits was higher than in the roots and the leaves.
