AIM:To search for bioactive constituents from Kochia scoparia. METHOD AND RESULT:Eight compounds were isolated from the glycosidic fraction of the fruit of Kochia scoparia. Their structures were identified as 3-O-β-D-xylopyranoyl(1→3)-β-D-glucuronopyranosyl oleanolic acid(Ⅰ),3-O-β-D-xylopyranoyl(1→3)-β-D-glucuronopyranosyl-28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl oleanolic acid(Ⅱ),28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl oleanolic acid(Ⅲ),3-O-[β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→2)β-D-xylopyranosyl(1→3)]-β-D-glucuronopyranosyl oleanolic acid(Ⅳ),3-O-β-D-[6-O-methyl-glucuronopyranosyl] oleanolic acid(Ⅴ),3-O-β-D-xylopyranosyl(1→3)-[6-O-methyl-glucuronopyranosyl] oleanolic acid(Ⅵ),oleanolic acid(Ⅶ),and stigmastenol 3-O-β-D-glycopyranoside(Ⅷ) by using chemical and spectroscopic methods,respectively. CONCLUTION:Compounds Ⅲ,Ⅴ and Ⅷ were isolated from this plant for the first time.
