Influence of fixed carbon of coke on carbon emission of blast furnace

In order to analyze the effects of fixed carbon content of coke on coke rate and carbon emission of blast furnace,the mass and heat balance calculations of blast furnace are made.The calculating conditions are assumed as follows:coal rate is180kg/t and the heat loss of blast furnace remains unchanged.The results show that in the condition of fixed carbon of coke being between 84.04 % and 91.04 %,1 %increment of fixed carbon of coke will reduce coke ratio by 3.83 kg/t and carbon emission by 0.9m3/t.
