Engineering electrode/electrolyte interface charge transfer of a TiO2−x photoanode with enriched surface oxygen vacancies for efficient water splitting

An efficient TiO 2− x photoanode based on thermal reduction was prepared and inhibited charge recombination by confining O V on the TiO 2 surface. Surface O V can facilitate the electrode/electrolyte interface charge transfer and water splitting.
