Spacial Distribution of Aphis gossypii Glover in Cotton Fields

Cotton aphis,Aphis gossypii,is one of major cotton pests.In recent years,Aphis gossypii in summer damaged cotton squares and bolls,and resulted in great lost in cotton production.Spatial distribution of cotton aphis could provide a scientific basis for its field control.The population distribution of Aphis gossypii was investigated in this paper.By using aggregation index,Iwao’s regression analysis,and Taylor’s power-determination,the results showed that Aphis gossypii was congregation distribution in the cotton fields.
