Hepatitis B surface antigen positive rate and risk factors analysis of primary and secondary students in Sunan province Yugu autonomous

Objective:In order to understand hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg) carrying case and the main factors of Yugur students in Zhangye,Gansu province Yugu Autonomous.Methods: 943 randomly selected primary and secondary students were conducted a questionnaire survey of hepatitis B knowledge,while taking venous blood,using ELISA assay HBsAg,and HBsAg positive for hepatitis B three system and liver function tests.Results: HBsAg positive rate was 9.12%,the male positive rate was 10.26%,female-positive rate was 7.62%,male and female HBsAg positive rate was significantly(χ2 = 8.12,P0.01);The minimum of HBsAg positive rate was in 6～8 year-old-age group,the peak was in the 14～16 year-old-age group.Hepatitis B knowledge among the students was 34.46%,hepatitis B vaccination rate was 65.43%.There was one or more carriers of HBsAg at least in the families of 50.67% of HBsAg-positive students.HBsAg carrier mothers accounted for 56.10%.Conclusion: The hepatitis B vaccination,maternal transmission,living close contacts is the main factors of Yugurs HBsAg carrier rate.
