Analysis of effect of in vitro fertilization and embryo transplantation in treatment of tubal infertility and unexplained infertility

Objective To analyze the fertilization rate and complete fertilization failure rate and pregnancy rate of tubal infertility and unexplained infertility patients treated with in vitro fertilization and embryo transplantation(IVF-ET) and evaluate the results of in vitro insemination. Methods The 213 primary infertility patients were divided into tubal infertility group consisted of 188 cases and unexplained infertility group consisted of 25 cases.The fertilization rate,complete fertilization failure rate and clinical pregnancy rate between the two groups were compared. Results The fertilization rate in unexplained infertility group was significantly lower than that of tubal infertility group(P0.01),while the complete fertilization failure rate in unexplained infertility group was higher than that of tubal infertility group(P0.05).There was no significantly statistical difference in clinical pregnancy rate between the two groups. Conclusion The tubal primary infertility patients be treated with IVF and the unexplained primary infertility patients be treated with IVF-ICSI split insemination method.
