TRANSPOSON TAGGING AND ITS POTENTIAL USE IN FUNCTIONAL GENOMICS STUDY OF SOYBEAN

Transposon tagging is a powerful molecular tool for isolating genes with unknown functions.This paper reviewed the fundamental,procedure and method of transposon tagging,as well as the recent advances of transposon uses in gene cloning.The application of transposon tagging in the mutant pool establishment and functional genomics study of soybean was also discussed and prospected.
