Influence of Torrefaction Pretreatment on Biomass Gasification

This paper briefly describes the physical and chemical characteristics of the biomass. The existing feedstock pretreatment method on biomass gasification,including on the research situation of biomass torrefaction and the influence of torrefaction pretreatment on biomass gasification is introduced. Many research results show that torrefaction can significantly improve the biomass powder grinding performance,effectively increase the density and bulk density,and reduce the biomass O / C ratio. Finally,the paper made an outlook on the application of torrefaction pretreatment on biomass gasification.
