The application of revenue management in hotel industry and discussion on the hotel’s revenue management errors in China

As an advanced and successful management method,revenue management was applied in developed countries as early as in 1980s, but its research and application have just started in China. The paper based on the concept of revenue management and the conditions of its application, the paper expounds the application of revenue management in hotel industry, and also points out some misunderstanding of hotel revenue management in China.
