Clnical significance of consecutive montoring of serum total bileacids with double reagent

Objective:To establish a quick and ideal method for detedction of serum total bile acids (TBA) and its normal reference range with autobiochenical amalysis instrument.Methods:serun TBA in 60 cases of different hepatipathies and 300 cases of healthy adults were detected consecutively with double reagents by enzymelinding .Results:serum TBA of different hepatoopathies and normal adults were 48.95%±5.73umol/L and 5.12%±3.46umol/L respectively .This difference was significant(P0.01).Inter-assay CVof the method were 1.99%,2.85% and 3.0% respectively,Inter-assay CVwere 3.28%,3.4% and 3.16% respectively ,the range of linearity from 0 to 200umol/L.Conclusions:The results showed that this method had a good linearity range ,high specificity ,and is quick and accurate .The determination of serum TBA has important clinical significance for the diagnosis and grading of different hepatopathies
