Protective technology of Perilla frutescens (Linn .) Britt. in Yanbian area

The Perilla frutescens (Linn.) Britt. is one major commercial crop in Yanbian area. With the continuation of planting years, lots of pests, diseases and weeds emerged which effected the output of Perilla frutescens (Linn . ) Britt. The research results showed that the fit herbicides of soil treatment for Perilla frutescens ( Linn . ) Britt. was the mixture of napropamide 3 kg/hm and prometryn 5 kg/hm whose controlling effect on the annual weeds could reach more than 90%. The fit herbicides treated to the stems and leaves of Perilla frutescens (Linn.) Britt. were sethoxydim (12.5%, 1.0 kg/hm2), fluazifop-butyl (35%, 1. 0 kg/hm2 ) and quizalofop-p-ethyl ( 5 % , 1.0 kg/hm2 ) . The main desease in Perilla frutescens ( Linn . ) Britt. was rust disease which effect the quality of Perilla frutescens (Linn. ) Britt. leaves seriously. The main insect pest (undetermined) had quite serious effect on the output of Perilla frutescens ( Linn . ) Britt. .
