Recent advance in research of sildenafil

Sildenafil(Viagra) is a new orally effective therapy for the treatment of men with erectile dysfunction(ED).It is a specific and selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase Type 5(PDE5).This paper reviews the foreign studies of the effects of sildenafl on heart,lung,kidney,eye and nervous system etc in the treatment of ED between 1999 and 2001.
