Styrene-acrylate emulsion for latex paint was prepared by emulsion polymerization with butyl acrylate,acrylic acid and styrene.The influence of amount of emulsifier and the acrylic acid to the paint film performance were discussed emphatically.Finally,styrene-acrylate emulsion formula was improved.
