Effects of Different Treatments on Seed Germination of Perilla frutescens (L.)

[Objective] The aim was to research the germination rate of Perilla frutescens(L.) seeds in different treat methods,such as soaking seed in high temperature,chilling sand in low temperature and spraying gibberellins.[Method] The five Perilla frutescens(L.) materials from various areas were treated in mentionedabove methods and in inter-treated in different methods.[Result] The results showed that three methods all could increase the germination rate of Perilla frutescens(L.) seeds,in which soaking seed in high temperature showed the most significant effect.In inter-treated,two methods:soaking seed in high temperature and chilling sand in low temperature meanwhile spraying gibberellins could significant promote Perilla frutescens(L.) seeds germination.[Conclusion] The results could give some theoretical foundation for Perilla frutescens(L.)cultivation research.
