Objective Study the importance of screening for thyroid function during pregnancy. Methods Test levels of TSH, FT4,TPOAb of 426 cases of pregnancy women and pregnancy outcomes of pregnant women. Results Proportion of low level of thyroid function was 4.6. There was significantly association between low thyroid function and adverse pregnancy history, with =30.35, P 0.001. Proportion of pregnancy-induced hypertension, anemia, fetal distress, intrauterine growth retardation in low level of thyroid function group was significantly higher than normal level of thyroid function group, P 0.05. Conclusion Screening for thyroid function during pregnancy has important significance to the reduction of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
