摘要
Antigen presentation is the complex series of events whereby antigen-presenting cells (APC) take up an antigen, process it, and place an immunogenic fragment in front of the T or B cells, thereby delivering an activation signal. Moreover, APC secrete costimulatory molecules which are important to the activation stage of the immune response.
