摘要
This paper presents the design and simulation approaches of wireless power transfer (WPT) systems. Transmitting and receiver coils are the heart of the WPT system. For efficient design, it should be simulated by using a suitable simulator. Many simulators such as MATLAB/SIMULINK, EM work, JMAG, PSIM, SPICE, 3DEM solver, and ANSYS MAXWELL/SIMPLORER are available for the design of the WPT coils and its controller. From most of the existing simulators, ANSYS is mostly used in many industries and by the researchers for design and performance evaluation of the coil. But, as per of author's knowledge, the detailed process of simulation and analysis of the result is not discussed in any of the literature, In this article, a detailed analysis of the design and simulation are discussed step-by-step approach. The step-by-step approaches will be very much helpful to the beginner in this field.
