摘要
This paper consists of a review of Metal powders in Additive Manufacturing. Additive Manufacturing is a layer by layer process that adds up the material to obtain the required component. For use in additive manufacturing, the Metal Powders manufactured by Atomization processes. Hence, by the usage of metal powder in Additive Manufacturing to achieve the desired part, the different types of procedure, pros, and cons, uses are described in this review. The characterizations to be considered for metal powders in AM by metrology methods are reviewed. And also the biomedical applications using AM techniques. Schematic diagrams, charts, and comparative tables presented for better assessment.
