An experimental procedure for estimating the radiation heat transfer coefficient in combined convective and radiative heat transfer

Where convection and radiation heat transfer occur simultaneously, it is frequently necessary to determine the heat transfer rate for each mode. A new experimental procedure is described which enables the radiation heat transfer coefficient to be determined from total heat transfer measurements, for any experimental model.
