[Annual advances in chronic cough 2025].

Chronic cough is a common presenting complaint in respiratory specialist clinics and primary care settings, exerting substantial adverse effects on quality of life of patients, work performance, and academic activities. In recent years, chronic cough has emerged as a major focus of international research. This article reviews advances in the epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and assessment, and treatment of chronic cough from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025.
