Taxonomic Studies of Oryza III. Key to the Species and Their Enumeration

All species of Oryza have critically been studied on the basis of materials preserved in various herbaria in Europe and the United States, and an attempt has been made to straighten out the nomenclature. In consequence of this work the following 22 species are recognized as valid species: O. alta, O. angustifolia, O. australiensis, O. barthii, O. brachyantha, O. breviligulata, O. coarctata, O. eichingeri, O. glaberrima, O. grandiglumis, O. latifolia, O. longiglumis, O. meyeriana, O. minuta, O. officinalis, O. perrieri, O. punctata, O. ridleyi, O. rufipogon, O. sativa, O. schlechteri, O. tisseranti. Key to the species has also been prepared.
