Application study of digital micro-mirror device oriented to true 3D volumetric display

Digital micro-mirror device(DMD)is used for modulating spatial light.Because of MEMS structure and microsecond response time,a true 3D display volumetric system is implemented with DMD as spatial light modulator(SLM),the DMD's operation principle is studied,design of a special DMD control module and a universal algorithm is done.The result shows that DMD excels vibrating mirror greatly in response speed and display ability,which is a good match with DMD as SLM to realize the simplicity design of true 3D volumetric display.
