Probe into the Design Positioning of City Square——Taking Shanxi Road Citizen Square of Nanjing Cityasan Example

The city square,being as a city's historic-cultural and development symbol,and also being as an important part of the urban landscape,has become the concern of the public.But in many places in China there are some shortcomings in the design positioning of city square.This paper expounds the importance of the design positioning of city square and some theories of design positioning of city square,and taking Shanxi Road Citizen Square of Nanjing City as an example,introduces in detail the design positioning of city square.
