Establishment of computerized automatic recognition system of cephalometry

Objective To establish a computerized automatic recognition system of cephalometry. Methods Image processing technique was used to identify the cephalometric landmarks, Borland C++ Builder 6.0 was used as programming tool. Results The contour of soft tissue and hard tissue and some typical curves were successfully taken, and 19 cephalometric landmarks were identified,computerized automatic recognition system of cephalometry was set up. Conclusion Computerized automatic recognition system of cephalometry can be developed by modern imaging process technique.
