Research development of thermal infrared camouflage textiles

The development of thermal infrared camouflage textiles has attracted more attentions because of the rapid development and wide application of modern thermal infrared detection technology and hyperspectral remote sensing technology. Based on the introduction of the thermal infrared camouflage mechanism,the research development status of thermal infrared camouflage textiles at home and abroad were reviewed in respect of controlling target infrared temperature and infrared emissivity. Also the development tendency of thermal infrared camouflage textiles was discussed. The development of thermal infrared camouflage textiles should be strengthened and updated from the following several aspects:ingenious design of fabric structure,complex application of fabric camouflage pattern design and low emissivity coating,and multi-functional compatibility.
