The spectral imaging system based on liquid crystal tunable filter(LCTF) has the advantages such as high spectral resolution,compact structure,and flexible control.A high-resolution LCTF spectral imager within visible band is constructed,and methods of spectral image capture and color image reconstruction is studied.Effects of color reconstruction are verified by experiments with the standard color card and the standard color measurement system.The results indicate that color reconstruction of images captured by the LCTF spectral imaging system has a smaller color difference.
