Research on Flocculation Setting Test of Coal Slurry Water in Renlou Coal Preparation Plant

According to the flocculation difficulty features of the coal slurry water in Renlou Coal Preparation Plant of Wanbei,the paper had an analysis and research on the coal slurry water properties and the coal slurry water setting tests were conducted with different coagulator and flocculant.The results showed that there were many clay minerals in the coal slurry water and a high content of fine slime in the coal slurry water.There would be obvious setting results in the coal slurry water with a density of 90 g/L when a combined medicament system with 200 g/m3 density gypsum and 15 g/m3 polyacrylamide were applied in the coal slurry water.The initial setting rate could be up to 7.8 cm/min.
