Over the past decade, interfacial iontronic sensing has emerged rapidly for pressure and tactile sensing. This modality utilizes the supercapacitive nature of iontronic interfaces, and exhibits significantly higher sensing performance over conventional capacitive-type sensors. In article number 2003464, Chuan Fei Guo, Tingrui Pan, and co-workers summarize the state-of-the-art developments over the first decade of iontronic-sensing technology.
