Upotreba upijača u uklanjanju uljnog onečišćenja

The high density of heavy maritime traffic and oil explotation at sea nowdays leads to frequent accidents whose outcome is oil spillage into the maritime environment. To reduce the damage to the maritime environment caused by oil spillage, fast reaction and high level of professionalism maintained by the mariners are of great importance. This work analyzes the usage of sorbents used in removing oil spills. Sorbenst are only one of the possible ways of removing the oil from the maritime environment. The aim of this work is to analyze and classify different types of sorbents and to connect their usage under different conditions.
