Enhanced stability and complex phase behaviour of organic–inorganic green-emitting ionic manganese halides

Tetrabromidomanganates( ii ) with its bulky cations exhibit strong photo- and electroluminescence in the green region of light. Together with their high stability toward air and humidity, they are interesting emitter materials for use in organic light-emitting devices.
