Study on the Glass Transition Temperatures of Extender Oils

The glass transition temperatures of extender oils and those different fractions were determined by means of Differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC).The research made sure that the glass transition temperatures of extender oils and those fractions exist correlation:the glass transition temperatures of extender oils are between the glass transition temperatures of the saturated fractions and the glass transition temperatures of the aromatic fractions.At the same time,the research explained the above relation by free-volume theory from the aspect of molecular structure.There is no the report on the glass transition temperatures of extender oils at present.
