A dual-band frequency selective surface (FSS) with different polarizations is proposed in this letter. The unit cell of the FSS is composed of three metallic layers and two intermediate dielectric layers. Each metallic layer has a square loop and a circular patch with a twisted slot. When the incident wave illuminates the surface, the polarizations of the transmission waves in the two bands are different, i.e., one is copolarization and the other is cross polarization. The performance of the surface has been validated by both the simulated and measured results that are in good agreement.
