As a vital green oxidant, H 2 O 2 is widely used in various fields. The photocatalytic H 2 O 2 synthesis outperforms the traditional anthraquinone process in low energy consumption, low cost, and no secondary pollution. Organic photocatalysts have emerged as ideal materials for photocatalytic H 2 O 2 synthesis due to their tunable band structures. Herein, various hydroxyl-functionalized polymeric materials were designed and synthesized for the visible-light photocatalytic production of H 2 O 2 in isopropanol. The effects of hydroxyl substitution positions and contents on photogenerated charge carrier separation efficiency and active species generation were studied. TPOL-9F with a β-ketoamine structure showed higher oxidation potential, more stable charge separation, and under visible light irradiation, H 2 O 2 production rate of 7052.8 μmol h –1 g –1 .
