Iron-Catalyzed Synthesis of Primary Sulfinamidines from Sulfenamides

Unsubstituted primary sulfinamidines are obtained from sulfenamides by iron-catalyzed NH transfer from a readily available, shelf-stable hydroxylamine triflic acid salt. The reaction operates under mild conditions and does not require an inert atmosphere.
