摘要
In this study, the CFD-VOF model was employed to simulate the two-phase interaction between jet and molten bath under different wear morphology of the oxygen lance nozzles. The difference of flow field attributable to the influence of nozzles on molten bath during the initial, intermediate, and final stages of service was investigated. The data reveals that with the increase in nozzle wear, the surface fluctuations of the molten bath weaken, and the velocity of the molten steel on the cross-section decreases. The worn nozzle has a considerable effect on the flow field of the molten steel at the furnace bottom, which is unconducive to stirring of molten bath. The results of this study are of great import for optimizing the process parameters of oxygen lance.
