Comparison of the belief and attitude of ICU between nurses and patients

Objective To explore the differences of faith and attitude of ICU between patients and nurses. Methods A total of 220 nursing staffs and 130 patients' family members who received treatment in the ICU of a tertiary hospital were selected as the study objects.The differences of ICU's visiting belief and attitude were analyzed. Results The mean total score of ICU test belief scale was respectively(2.63±0.32)points and(2.99±0.30)points. The ICU visit belief score and attitude score were compared between the two groups, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Patients' family members have a more positive attitude towards ICU visits than nursing staffs.When the ICU visitation system is reformed, the differences of the demands of the patients and the nurses should be taken into account to meet the needs of the two parties to the maximum extent.
