Application of gelatin in oral drug preparation

Gelatin is a kind of natural biodegradable polymer which has advantages of wide material source,excellent biocompatibility and non-toxic,and has been widely applied in pharmaceutics.This paper summarizes the properties and security of gelatin and its application in oral drug preparation,which will provide references for the further study of gelatin.
