Advance in Vapor-Phase Beckmann Rearrangement of Cyclohexanone Oxime to ε-Caprolactam Catalyzed by Molecular Sieves

Recent development of vapor - phase Beckmann rearrangement of cyclohexanone oxime to e-caprolactam catalyzed by molecular sieves was reviewed. Type of molecular sieves for Beckmann rearrangement, reaction mechanism, deactivation and regeneration of molecular sieves and the new process were discussed. Improving the selectivity of e-caprolactam will be the focus of future research.
