Simulation and Improvement of Minibus Door Crashworthiness With Finite Element Method

摘要
The simulation analysis of side crashworthiness of a minibus door is carried out with finite element method.The finite element model of the door established with Hypermesh is used to obtain the energy conversion and deformation with LS-DYNA.The results show that the door crashworthiness is dissatisfied.To enhance the door crashworthiness,a side door beam is arranged.The result before improvement is compared with on after,it shows that the energy absorption effect of side door beam is excellent and side door beam can improve the door crashworthiness effectively.
