Problems in Realizing Electronic Publication of Academic Journals

This paper analyzes the definition of electronic publication of academic journals,and its status quo and characteristics of development in China.It proceeds to discuss the procedure of electronic publication,including the electronic management of editorial board,the providing of standardized academic models,the application of database cataloging in first-step paper selection,and the promotion of expert online reviewing.It points out that electronic editing is the most important factor in the process of electronic publication.Only when due attention is paid to the digital concept of editors,can high-quality electronic publication of academic journals be realized.
